We are hosting our 4th Portland Community Art Camp (Camp P.C.A.C.) 2025 next week!! (fondly referred to as Camp Peacock). There will be two sessions, July 14-18 and July 21-25, from 9:30-5:30 for children ages 7-10 yrs (flexible). Sliding scale ($150 - $225). 12 campers per session. Camp will be overseen by Laurie Simpson (owner of Connect Architecture) with lovely camp counselors, Sophia Simpson & Mina Grover - activities will include music education, painting & drawing lessons, clay & textile work, dance, gardening & nature exploration, Japanese cultural art & cooking, puppet making, paper mâché, upcycling, and more! Connect Architecture completed the design of this unique cottage development tucked into a Vancouver neighborhood - construction is scheduled to start in the next few weeks!
This modern home was designed by Connect Architecture in Multnomah Village with large glass block windows - something the city hasn’t seen in 30 years. The gorgeous japanese tile compliments the glass block beautifully. Construction should be done in a few weeks!
